Sports 2022 Qatar - The FIFA world cup will be held between November 21 – 30, 2022, at Estadi Nacional de Al Rayyan Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar between the round of 16 and quarter-finals. 1st place in each group, second place in the knockout stages, and third and fourth position overall depending on the results from other groups. A total crowd of around 80 million is expected to see a game at this year's tournament. The attendance is significantly lower than in 2019's World Cup which reached a peak of 111 million fans, including more than 60% from Asia. This year's numbers are set to be lower due to health and safety concerns, but should still be an excellent spectacle for football fans in Qatar.
